Developer wanted for Santa Fe Downs
The Santa Fe Downs is on track for a makeover.
Pueblo of Pojoaque Development Corp. announced it is looking for a partner to redevelop the longtime dormant property. The group is seeking bids for a comprehensive site plan that can revitalize the area. It’s not yet known what developers are envisioning for the over 300-acre parcel but the pueblo does not plan to use it for horse racing anymore – which was the Santa Fe Down’s original purpose when it opened in 1971.
