Bellwether, Mercy Housing begin building $105M Roosevelt project
Seattle is getting better at building high-density, affordable housing near transit stations with the latest example in the Roosevelt neighborhood.
Construction is beginning there this week on a 254-unit project, Cedar Crossing, next to the light rail station that’s opening next year. Homes will be affordable to households whose incomes are up to 60% of area-median income. Sixty percent equals $65,150 for a family of four.
The developers are nonprofits Bellwether Housing and Mercy Housing Northwest.…
