Whole Foods Market is going urban with its new store sizes; footprints like a Trader Joe's
The company will debut the format on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, with additional cities to follow. An exec with Whole Foods and Amazon says at the smaller stores, “we’re tailoring every square foot to the unique, fast-paced needs of urban lifestyles.”
