Whataburger coming to Homewood
A burger chain that has opened or planned several locations in the metro area in the past year has another under construction.
Whataburger is building a restaurant at 195 State Farm Parkway in Homewood, which was formerly the site of a Regions Bank.
According to the company, the restaurant has a planned opening this fall. When it opens, it will bring 100 jobs to the site.
The restaurant serves burgers, chicken and more during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
