Viewpoint: Move the Commanders — and the Caps and Wizards — to RFK site
Plenty has been written, said, posted and shouted about Ted Leonsis’ nearly dead plan to move the Caps and Wizards to Potomac Yard in Alexandria.
Here’s an idea: Why not move both teams to the RFK site, where they could join the Commanders at a state-of-the-art sports, entertainment and mixed-use venue?
Think about it. It’s a blank slate — and we should seriously consider the concept.
The RFK site, nestled amid highways and three Metro lines, is huge. It already has been home to a stadium.…
