Within an hour of opening the door on Friday, WeWork’s new Oakland office at 1111 Broadway was buzzing with new members clicking away on their computers and grabbing coffee in the kitchen.
“All you need is a laptop to start working — we have everything else,” said Elton Kwok, WeWork’s general manager for Northern California.
