Pinal County names new economic and workforce development director
Pinal County officials announced Oct. 29 that James Smith was named director of economic and workforce development.
Smith will begin his new role Nov. 8. He will come to Pinal County after serving as economic development director for the town of Fountain Hills, where he has worked since May 2019. Prior to working in Fountain Hills, Smith worked in Chandler’s economic development office for 12 years.
