Opposition from subdivision leads to rejection of 213-unit Mount Pleasant apartment project
Mount Pleasant trustees rejected a rezoning for 213 rental houses and townhomes after residents of a neighboring subdivision demanded single-family homes instead to avoid a change of “character” or “culture” in the area.
