Once on market for nearly $60 million, Texas ranch sold in harbinger of accelerating luxury deals
It didn’t take luxury ranch broker Bernard “Bernie” Uechtritz too long to get multiple bids on Dallas hedge fund manager Kyle Bass’ Barefoot Ranch outside of Dallas-Fort Worth.
The 2,493-acre ranch — once marketed at $59.5 million — attracted multiple would-be buyers before selling to an undisclosed Texas buyer for an undisclosed sum, said Uechtritz, founder of Icon Global and broker with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.
