New York broker Robert Futterman is fired after arrest, report says
Prominent real estate broker Robert Futterman has been fired from his namesake firm.
According to the New York Post, the Manhattan real estate pro was terminated “for cause” on Tuesday.
The firing was confirmed by BGC Partners, which bought Robert K. Futterman & Associates last year. BGC co-owns Futterman’s firm with Newmark Group Inc. (NASDAQ: NMRK) — creating Newmark RKF.
The publication goes on to say that Futterman, 61, had been texting people at the company with “bizarre messages.”
