Long-time Kaimuki bakery to close at the end of the month
JJ French Pastry & Bistro, a long-time family-owned bakery and restaurant in Kaimuki, is shuttering its doors at the end of the month, the owner confirmed to Pacific Business News.
JJ Luangkhot said they decided to close because the lease is up at the end of the month, and it is too expensive to renew. However, he added the company is currently looking at a few downtown locations.
