Legislation passed to nullify Minneapolis 2040 lawsuit
Advocates of Minneapolis 2040 are championing a bill passed by the Minnesota Legislature this week, saying it has brought to an end a legal dispute that has put the city’s comprehensive plan on hold until recently and discouraged some higher density development. But the lawyer for one of the lawsuit’s plaintiffs said they still plan to fight the 2040 plan.
