Judge signals he may deny CalPERS motion to seize control of $38 million in disputed joint venture
A Sacramento County Superior Court judge has signaled he will deny a motion by the California Public Employees’ Retirement System that would have immediately given it control of $38 million being held by a former real estate joint venture partner who is now in a legal dispute with CalPERS.
