Hillwood Communities expanding in Houston area, building second master-planned community
Seven years after breaking ground on its first Houston-area master-planned community in the small suburb of Manvel, Dallas-based Hillwood Communities announced it’s building its second just 2 miles away.
Valencia will be built on 440 acres and include 938 single-family homes in the $300,000-to-$600,000 range plus trails and lakes, according to the H. Ross Perot Jr.-owned company. There will be 28 acres reserved for commercial space and 15 acres for an elementary school.
