Founder of Fite Development dies at 88
Family had an interment service last week for Bruce Fite, the founder and former president of one of the Sacramento region’s biggest industrial development firms.
Fite died April 18 at 88, said his son, current Fite Development Co. CEO Chet Fite.
“You know, he grew something of substance from nothing,” Chet Fite said, estimating the company has built 10 million square feet of projects during its history, much of it during his father’s stewardship. “Those are some big shoes to fill.”
