Exclusive: Zazzle to close two Silicon Valley plants, slash jobs as it moves manufacturing out of state

E-commerce company Zazzle, Inc. is shutting its manufacturing and distribution facilities in Silicon Valley as it prepares to move operations out of California.

The privately-held company, whose headquarters are in Redwood City, will close two plants in San Jose and lay off 117 Bay Area employees, according to layoff notices filed with the state of California.
