Exclusive: Royals, Jackson County may be $138M apart on bonds for downtown ballpark
The Kansas City Royals have said that up to $350 million could be generated for construction of an East Crossroads ballpark through a successful Jackson County sales tax vote. But issuing new stadium bonds with terms recommended by county financial advisers would yield far less in proceeds, leaked documents suggest.
