Does Arizona’s heat, climate change hurt business attraction?

When you tell someone you are from Phoenix (or Arizona), the first thing that usually comes up is the heat.

It happens with cab drivers in New York and London, Uber and Lyft drivers in Los Angeles and pretty much anyone you sit next to on a flight or at an airport bar.

They are curious about 120-degree days this past summer, droughts and a 90-degree Thanksgiving. 

Record heat this summer did cancel some flights at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
