D.C. United picks Northern Virginia site for second division team, stadium
D.C. United has struck a tentative deal to base its team offices and a second-division franchise in Loudoun County, where it would trigger the construction of a new, 5,000-seat stadium.
The county Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold a public hearing in January on a proposed memorandum of agreement with the Major League Soccer franchise.
