City approves $16 million to gobble up, demolish former fast food site
A shuttered McDonald’s in the SoMa is the latest piece of real estate to get snatched from the market in San Francisco, this time by the city.
The Board of Supervisors gave the green light on Tuesday for the city’s General Services Agency to buy 814-840 Bryant St. and 470 Sixth St. for $11.52 million. Another $480,000 will go to demolish the site.
