Breed appoints new affordable housing director
Mayor London Breed has appointed the former California emergency services official to lead the city agency tasked with building affordable housing.
Eric Shaw will become director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development on April 27, according to a statement released by Breed’s office Tuesday. He was selected after a national search.
Shaw, an urban planner, has worked in the Bay Area for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and the San Jose Redevelopment Agency. He coordinated…
