Albany-area home sales on pace to beat 2016 record finish
Home sales in the Albany, New York, region are within striking distance of surpassing last year’s record total, based on preliminary figures released by the Greater Capital Association of Realtors.
There were 10,813 closed sales for the year through November.
If at least 941 sales are completed in December, the total will surpass the 2016 record, 11,753 sales.
“Anecdotally I can tell you December was a strong month,” said GCAR President Joel Koval, a broker at Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.…
