A pro soccer stadium in this downtown Austin park? Not so fast, Council members say
Butler Shores Metropolitan Park offers some alluring characteristics for a pro soccer stadium — such as proximity to restaurants, shops and other downtown attractions — as well as some potential drawbacks, including the already congested roads of the Central Business District.
